Mark Johnston was released from the hospital in North Carolina. They are ending their vacation prematurely and returning home. The testing so far revealed no concerns - yet his short-term memory of the last week has not fully recovered. Continued prayers for answers and restoration.
Julie Huyser’s cardiology appointment revealed the EKG had been misread in error. There were no indications of AFIB - just an extra heartbeat. So now the cancelled sinus surgery can be rescheduled.
Prayers for Julia and Jay with her ongoing recovery from knee replacement surgery. It was more extensive than first anticipated which makes the hill to recovery all the steeper.
Continued prayers for Dianna as she heals up from the significant bruising from the assault. Further prayers that the roadblocks to obtaining a Personal Protection Order will come down.
Prayers for strained relationships and divides in our community - especially that the No Kings Protest in Muskegon this weekend will not escalate into violence as it has elsewhere. At the same time, there will be two large gay pride rallies - one in Grand Haven and the other in Muskegon. Prayers for the Holy Spirit to touch our community and bless our churches with wisdom.

Marge and the Concern Team made it safely to Mexico. Prayers for a good work trip there.
We are grateful for a good congregational meeting where the budget passed and Dave Mengel was affirmed as elder.
Prayers for Dianna as she heals from several bruises. She was physically assaulted by an intoxicated nephew who is now under arrest.
Julie Huyser’s sinus surgery may need to be postponed. Her presurgical tests revealed some AFIB, so an okay from cardiology is required in order to proceed. As she is quite uncomfortable with the congestion and sinus pressure, please pray that this can be rectified quickly.
Prayers for Kathy Pohler’s family. Her brother was involved in a tragic accident and is expected not to survive.
Prayers for Tom’s friend Bud. It appears the cancer has come back with concerns that it has already spread.
